As we put the final touches to re-building the resources section of the web site, we aim to start putting together a very large number of 'How to...' guides for everything from building bird boxes or feeding birds, to buying binoculars or photographing insects.
As this will be a very large project, we really need your help.
As we start each new guide, we'll post a message in this forum that will enable visitors to contribute ideas, suggestions and any other info related to the subject, that will help to produce really comprehensive guides for others to use.
For example, in 'How to...Deal with Slugs in the Garden', you can really help us by adding:
- Your own tips and tricks
Product reviews of any slug repellants that you've tried
Include recipes of your own slug repellants
Add Photographs
Include statistics on slugs
Add old wives tales, legends, myths etc
Maybe drop in the odd slug joke
As the forum page grows, we'll use it to produce the completed guide in the resources section.
You can help by adding anything from a single line, to a complete paragraph or more. So, if you think of something relevant whilst at work, you can just quickly drop in to the forum and post your idea during your lunch break
Scour the web, leaf through books, ask your friends and look for info on the subject in every place you can think of and we'll soon have really guides to wildlife with tons of information.
Obviously, to avoid copyright problems, all words must be your own, but apart from that, you've got a free reign.
The first of the guides (forum versions) are here:
