Let's See Who's Online

i have been thinking just a thought, it would be nice to see who is on line when you read the new threads, i know it shows you after you have clicked on to someones thread, but you cant tell if their on line or not befor.so you could have a one to one conversation about a subject that you are both interested in,i dont know if this is possable of course but i thought i would ask and see how the land lies.

Hi Ya,

On one of the other forums I frequent thay have a sunday night chat wich is just a random thing that gets worse as the bottle of wine gets emptied It starts off properly though.

maybe i'm confuzzled about what you mean but theres a box showing whos on line at the top of the right hand column which you can see before youve even logged on - less your veiwer is different or summat

Perhaps naturelover has the box closed, as it is optoinal If you click on the arrows on the » Online Users on the top right, it opens or shuts displaying who is on line - dose that make sense?

I thought you meant being able to see who's online while viewing the new posts page, so I've now put the right column on that page too.

Isnt it funny how different people use the forum differently...im never OFF the new posts page...i dont venture into specialist forum pages...i just stay on this one and notice any new posts that pop up and read them....and watch what colour blue they are to see if someone has replied..


tell a lie...i also use the "Your posts" page in unison...

So i was also confused as there has been a large "Whos online" box as far as i was concerned since the day i joined WAB...but im guessing it only shows in the New posts page?

Nope, I just checked, you can see it on the forum lists and when you enter a forum. It never goes away on mine. I quite like having a quick look at who's on when I log on.

yes its everywhere now but i think thats because stewpot just fixed it.

i know you have a box with whos on line,what i am talking about is when you click on new forum,it would be nice to have it show you that he or she is on line befor you click on it,so that you can get an answer straight away, i still dont recieve any emails from wab,and today i seem to have lost new posts front page,whats going on??

so what your saying is that it would be good if it showed who is viewing each forum like it does in the review section... only stu can tell us if thats possibubble

mind you if you click on where it says online users you get a list which shows what each person is doing so a quick look there would answer the question

Im still not sure what shes on about? i cant see any changes anywhere?..

i cant see who is viewing each forum...just abig list of whos online...although i only just learnt that if you click people in that list you can see what they are up to individually....which is handy ( is that new?). i like being nosey !
