I've recently added a new feature whereby you can set your user account in the reference section to show the latest weather info in your region.
In the reference section, click on 'My account > My Weather > Create New Location' and choose from the various settings for location and display options etc.
Once saved, a local 'Current weather' block should appear on the left-hand column of the reference section.

Cool!  Well, 15 celcius anyway.
