Strange statistic

Most users ever online was 424, Today at 01:01 AM.

What was going on in the early hours to warrant so much traffic?

Did I miss something?

Re: Strange statistic

Weird!
I find it interesting that there is almost always 6 - 10 times more guests viewing than members.
If that many guests are interested why do they not join up?

Re: Strange statistic

I had an early night for a change. Always seem to miss being among the big numbers.

Never had that problem.

I did ask all my friends to come on line so that could account for two people .... perhaps.

Has some advert gone out in the USofA or somewhere else out west? Can you track where people were logging on?

Re: Strange statistic

i think paul has probably hit the nail on the head - it might be 1am here - but the tinterwebs a global phenomenemem - why there are so many people over seas logging in is another question.

I think stu can tell where people are logging in from via opentracker but us normal mortals dont have access to that.

Re: Strange statistic

We could always try for our own record, 424 out of x-thousand (cannot find a figure)
is only a drop in the ocean
Unless it was the Bat and Owl clan I cannot imagine why people would stay up that late
any idea which threads were viewed??

Perhaps it was a club outing
