Random images

Hi all,

I like the fact that the front page of the gallery shows some random images. Its always a shame that after a short period of time images get lost in the depths of the ever increasing amount of uploads so this helps address that.

However, I just wonder if there was some way to increase the exposure of older uploads? Maybe with more random images shown on the front page? or a Random button you can hit that brings up a page of images from the whole achive?

Just thinking out loud really, I would be interested to hear what others think?

I agree Matt, think the best way if it's possible would be as you suggest a random image button.

I know what you mean but random is exactly that, this would not guarantee the availablity of older images. I suspect the search engine would prove to be the better option. Jon
