| | | can't access a thread I posted a thread on this forum a few minutes ago - as I sent it off I got the following error message come up.
"Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /forums/wild-about-britain-web-site/15189-quick-view-last-post.html on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apache/1.3.37 Server at www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk Port 80"
It appears to be on the forum, and hovering over the name brings up the content I entered, but I can't open the thread - when I try, I get the same error message up. Is this my problem at my end, or has something gone awry somewhere else?
Hope this one gets through.
Cheers
Sven

Sven | I get the same message when trying to read it, but as you say if you hover over the thread title the first few lines are shown.
Very odd

BWD | same here, your best bet sven would be to pm stuartdh as this is clearly an ostrich up in the forum software
in the meantime you might want to repost the thread again.

What have I done?!
I'll PM Stuart now.
Thanks for letting me know it isn't just me.
Cheers

Sven | its all very strange - especially as you can post normally on other subjects - the 404 error indicates a software issue in the php script ( I think) but i'm baffled as to why
the mighty stu will sort it out tho so worry ye not

| | | Re: can't access a thread Well, I tried again after Stuart said that it was just a gremlin and the same thing happened.
I have just tried one more time, and this time changed the name of the thread to Latest Post Preview and this time it got through fine. Could it be that the name of the thread fouled things up? Who knows, at least it's up there now.
Hope it was worth the effort!
Cheers
Sven
