In regards to downloading pm's to disc.
There is the option of automaticly downloading all pm's but is it possible to set the destination??

And whilst on the subject of pm's, is there a time limit where they are automaticly deleted??

Not a time limit, but there is a limit on the number you can have, eventually your PM box will be full and unable to receive any more until you manually delete some old ones.
