Gallery Uploads - Please read

[SIZE="3"]The site is currently running slow, if you image uploads hang or appear not to complete please wait for 30 mins to see if they are in the gallery before trying to upload again.[/SIZE]

hi digi,

I've just tried to upload 2 files and have had e-mails saying the files have been removed and then giving 3 possible reasons why, none of which appear appropriate. Can any light be shed on this? Thanks,

Hi Matt

I deleted the images they had become corrupted and the titles were missing. Normally I pm members but I cannot cope at the momemt.

Arrrrrgh!!!!!

Shall I try again a bit later? Presumably it's problems with the website that has corrupted them? They seem OK on my machine.

I recommend a quick lie down in a darkened room

Stuart is not online at the moment, I have sent him an email so we will have to keep our fingers crossed.

Its strange how the site always goes down when he's not here, I think when he leaves his PC he must be pulling the plug out!!

I read .Gallery uploads please read.
I'm not to good at reading

and what I read was some thing about corrupted files and wait 30 mins' and then about large fonts.
Now

Beryl, because the site is running slowly, when you upload any images can you please be patient and if you think they may not have uploaded please wait for 30 minutes to make sure. If after that time they are not on the gallery you may then upload again. The corrupted files were nothing to do with you but in answer to somebody else whose files had not uploded as they should. Just take it easy and be patient with the system, it is feeling rather poorly and so is going slow.

I'm a dyslexic and some times reading is a bit like you trying to dicypher hieroglyphics ( had to look that one up)

Don't worry about it. I can well see why you were confused with all this about changing font sizes. That could well have been left for when things are not so hectic.
