Okay who was it?

Who has stuck a large WAB sticker on the road sign as you come in to Derby on the A6?

No way, that's got to be a first. Does it say WAB or Wild About Britain?

Re: Okay who was it?

Could it be that person 'It wasn't me'? In this particular case, I wish it had been yours truly!!

Re: Okay who was it?

Obviously we can't condone fly-posters as they are often illegal, but for a few years our village has had advertising space sold by the local council underneath the signs and on the roundabouts as you enter the village - much to annoyance of the locals.

If they're going to sell ad space I think they should at least put one aside in every village for a free ad from a local charity. Seeing as we're a UK-local charity we could have them all over the place

Neat idea, especially if WAB also supplies the cars to stick them on.

Re: Okay who was it?

I would display a Wildabout sticker in my car or bag or frontdoor if necessary!

I know how it looks, me being near and everything, but it wasn't me.

WAB surely would not mean anything to people who have never visited the site?

Re: Okay who was it?

Good idea.
I don't drive any more
But it's a good idea
And WAB would mean some thing to any one who is computer literate
First thing I would do was type it into Google

Windo*s address book

No mention of Wild About Britain
