How do these 'rankings' work? Is access to some facilities achieved after a certain number of postings?

no, the titles simply reflect the number of posts made, there are no added perks! I think Officer is 500 posts, Commander is 1000 posts etc.

yep its just a bit of fun - apart from the fact that you need 25 posts before you can alter your profile or add a link in a signature bar the number of posts you have is irrelevbant to your access rights

by the way has anybody else noticed the graham (Glsammy) became a knight commander of the wild empire - when he topped 5000 but Nightshade and I are knights of the wild empire - strange

That's 'cos I threw a strop, and refused to share my Knight Commander with anyone!!

Actually I hadn't noticed, I'm sure it was just a slip up.

active at 25
wild member at 100 (or possibly 50)
member of the wild empire at 250
officer of at 500
commander at 1000
knight /knight commander at 5000

we are waiting for graham to top 10 thou to see what happens next
