With massive thanks to everyone who has contributed and the enormous amount of work put in by the gallery editors, we've just past another big milestone with 30,000 images in the gallery 
The quality of pictures just gets better and better and we now cover a huge variety of species across the UK
I simply can't say enough about how much work the gallery editors have put in to getting the gallery where it is today. Volunteering thousands of hours to moderating, naming and sorting images, we simply wouldn't have a fraction of the site if it wasn't for their incredible contribution to the charity. When I started the gallery I soon realised it was going to be a mammoth task and I wouldn't be able to keep up, but thankfully the gallery editors picked up the ball and ran with it, completely running the show ever since and building basically everything that we have today.
Thanks to everyone involved in posting all the superb photographs. Here's looking forward to the 40,000 mark.

That is just an amazing milestone to achieve.
Well done to all that have contributed their photos and a particular huge thanks to those guys who do all the behind the scenes work as moderators.
Next step is 40000 as Stu says .... I will help us on our way over the next few days with a few photos from my recent Scottish Highlands trip.

I am grateful to all who have given me pleasure through their photos, I love looking through the galleries, you all deserve recognition from the photographers to the editors, plus any one else that puts that little tweak in.

In my opinion,the WAB gallery is second to none. A superb achievement by all contributors and gallery mods.
It's become an incredible tool for education and for pure pleasure.
Roll on 40,000.

When you think that the Gallery Editors are all volunteers and give up
their time gladly to achieve this magnificent Gallery it makes me feel
very humble
