| | | New 'users online' record I see that yesterday evening a new record was set for the number of users on line - 272, and I seem to recall that the previous record had stood for quite some time so it's good to see that WAB is gaining popularity not only in terms of new members but also in the number of users.
Congratulations Stu and all the members of the WAB team who make this such a great site

| | | Re: New 'users online' record Thanks Jeff,
I wouldn't be surprised if we knock this record fairly soon as we're currently sitting on surge of traffic over the past few months and have actually been holding back posting specific keywords etc to keep traffic to a progressive and manageable growth...more interested in quality than quantity
By this afternoon we'll have done more traffic than all of June 2006 and we've still got 19 days left this month. |

| | | Re: New 'users online' record The previous record was in early June. I wonder what makes us all log on at that time of year?? |

| | | Re: New 'users online' record One of the reasons is that WABs website was given out by the spring watch team on the message boards.
The other reason is that this is the time of year people get out and about and see more wildlife, then they like to know what they have seen so arrive here and get addicted |

| | | Re: New 'users online' record plus we were in Amateur photographer , in the digital camera magazine book on wildlife photographer and on the guardian website.
last time round it was after someone - tinkerbell i think or maybe boddie- was on the radio
coincidentally i'm on local radio in a couple of weeks, I was going to work in a cheeky mention or two but it looks like this might not be needed right now

| | | Re: New 'users online' record Oh go on, tell us which radio station and what you'll be talking about, I'll listen out for you as I should be able to get the same "local" station.
