How do I,
A) edit my profile 
B)Make it so that I do not get am e-mail every time there is a new post

Hi Wildsam,
You can't edit your profile until you've made 25 posts, but you cna switch of email notification by clicking on the mouse icon at the top of screen and choosing 'edit options'

Its in the options in
Member Control Panel
The mouse icon at the top left of the page.
You may have to post 25 posts before permissions are changed though but Edit Profile is under Settings & Options
And then Edit Options, which is also under Settings & Options, allows you to opt out receiving email notifications if you go to

Come on Sam
Post again and you should be able to change. I think however that even when you have reached the magic 25 posts the servers may need, up to, 24 hours to re-assign your profile or something like that - I seem to remember? |

as to reasons to disable it the two good ones i can think of are a) if you used someone elses email, or a work email to sign up , and b)if you are very active and get buried in notifications - mine is disabled forthe latter reason , tho i have left pm notification active.
