The Gallery

I use the gallery images as a desktop changing every couple of days,
especially if there is a bird etc.that I have had trouble identifying
I have already asked about having a slideshow of the gallery and been turned down because someone is still (despite the governments best efforts) on dial up
So how about a week of showing off the gallery contents the best way possible short of a slide show,people can then appreciate what wonderfull photographers we have and be encouraged to pass comments,aweek of butterflies ,a week of mammals.......you get the idea

nightshade, I think this is what Stu is intending to do with the Competition photos. I am still not happy with the idea of comments which critisise unless the user specifically indicates that it is OK.
As to dial up, there are still areas out there that cannot get Broadband. Also people who have limited means may prefer to use dial-up. Not everyone is of working age or has paid employment.

I'm planning on adding a gallery that will show off some of the best photos that haven't made it into the top-rated/most viewed categories as there are some great pics, that unfortunately sit in the less popular groups and so they don't get seen as often as they should.

I'll hopefully have something done by the end of today, with 50 or so images that'll change every week.
