| | | Water-crowfoot Thought I'd post a photo of this one, which I planted near the edge of the pond earlier in the year. It scarcely grew for ages, and spent quite a bit of the summer exposed on the damp sand, but it's put on a late growth spurt following rain earlier in the autumn. I think this one is Ranunculus aquatilis (Common Water-crowfoot) - hopefully it should flower next year. |

| | | Re: Water-crowfoot Definitely Crowfoot, looks healthy enough! Should have those little white flowers next spring. (Or earlier if this odd weather keeps up.)

| | | Re: Water-crowfoot We had a little bit in long ditch that had recently been finished last year at work which flowered after forming a large clump. Then this spring little bits popped up all along the ditch, all of which flowered. It was doing quite well till the dog walkers found the board walk and the resulting trampling and muddying of the water killed it all off | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
