Question non-native aquatic plant species
Hi,

Does anyone know any useful information about the effects that non-native aquatic plant species can have on the native aquatic species? I am doing a project about it and would like to find out some more information. I know that they can outcompete other plants and cause deoxygenation in the water bt are the any other changes to the water like pH, and the metal content of the water which could affect other species like fish??

In my region our Rivers Trust have this initiative, email Bekka Corrie-Close if you need more info on non-natives.
