Shell Identification??
Can anyone identify this shell???? My dad dug it up on one of his jobs, but I am certain that it must have been a seashell! It looks very old, and the inside is almost like mother of pearl. It is about 2" in diamater.

Any ideas?

A guess would be a Nautilus,but that is all it is

I have just discovered that it is a Angaria Delphinus shell from the Phillipines!!! (Goodness only knows how it got over here? )

As a girl living in Cyprus I found a shell on a beach. I found out it had come all the way from Bermuda!!!! So your shell may be from where you think. Stranger things have happened
