Fish For ID
I spotted this fish hanging out the side of an otter's mouth on South Uist last week, any idea what it is - or should I just be happy that there were otters at the bottom of the garden

99% sure its a butterfish or gunnel Pholis gunnellus , just hard to rule out Yarrells Blenny Chirolophis ascanii. Gunnel tend to be much more common within an otters diet on rocky shores.

Nice image, AndyC. Looks like Butterfish to me too, with similar reservations to those of Dogghound.
