Hi

at whistable harbour in kent i was looking in the sea and i saw groups of fish which looked very much like sticklebacks but i didnt know what fish they could be? if anyone could say what they were that would be helpful.

If they looked like Sticklebacks, maybe they were.

Both the 3 spined and 9 spined stickleback can live in totally marine conditions so that may well have been what you saw.

thankyou for replying. it looks like they may be sticklebacks because from the top they do like like them with their silvery colours.
