| | | Pond insect ID? Hi
Can anyone help me identify this insect that I found floating in my container pond and also in the tray of water I have for the hedgehogs in my garden. I'm not sure if they are supposed to be there or if i should help them get out of the water. When I pick them up on my finger they jump off. Thanks |

It's a Springtail, but I don't think this one is associated with water - reminds me of one I see in grassland on Clover.
Take care, Jason |
