| | | Glass bottom boats Hello. I've seen several places abroad where you can have a glass bottom boat ride. Is there anywhere in GB that does them? I'd love to see some of our sea creatures along the coasts. Is our water too murky?

There's a glass-bottomed boat that runs out of Ferrybridge between Weymouth & Portland in Dorset that is apparently very good, although I've not been on it.

This one looks good .... Seaprobe Atlantis
However, despite my frequent trips to the Highlands, I have never taken a trip myself.
I think this may have been the trip that was recently shown on Chris Packham's "Natures Calendar".

| | | Re: Glass bottom boats Wow, sounds great but...
I wouldn't be allowed to go on one, my parents/grandparents would be too scared of the glass, I mean, they get scared when a normal boat rocks. :P
