Warfarin reduces fat in blood thus reducing the risk of thrombosis whilst digitalis which is used to "kick start"coronary patients and can drastically stimulate the heart enough to result in the death of a healthy creature. So ensure your fox glove dosent drop its seeds into your pond, just in case. |

NOz I have ragged robin too there are to many to mention I tend to plant close together and give more cover so there are no gaps.

Thanks! | ....I've heard of a flower which cats hate but unfortunately it's not perennial and I also don't know its name.
Low electric fencing until the cats learn to keep away?

| | | Re: Know of anygood plants to go around the pond ? Talking about low electric fencing, the product you want is a velda electric fence, £70 or so. I have it to keep the great grey winged beast from eating my fish, it sends 40,000 volt zaps every 5 seconds down the wire. Having had all my other fish in my previous pond, the great grey winged beast has suddenly lost his appetite since I installed this. Reason for mentioning it is it has strands of wires at 2 levels, one at heron level and the other at cat level. I'm sure tiddles would reconsider his fish catching strategy faced with one of these. |
