| | | Re: Fish ID please This doesn't tick the right boxes for a roach to me. I reckon it's a chub, especially with the orange coloured pelvic and anal fins, coupled with a dark dorsal fin.

theres only one Chub here, sometimes called the european chub.
Squalius (Leuciscus) cephalus.
There are quite a few chub species of Squalius world wide (bless google!),but thats ours. I dont know of any others introduced in UK, unlike some other species.
