Fish ID please

The Chub had a lovely scale pattern which your fish has, the others look like fry, possibly Minnow.

Chub don't have such a deep notch in the tail.

OK well these fish were about a foot long so that doesn't help much, they were confiding though and didn't seem bothered by my presence.

Dace don't have red eyes and don't usually get that big (a foot would be considered a specimen fish).

Common minnow and Roach

Roach have concave dorsal and anal fins like in the photo, in chub they are convex and rounder. chub of this age are not this silver or with such a thin profile particularly to the head. This fish also shows a red eye which would not be seen in a chub of any age.
