Today, I went swimming with ctenophores, well, more like standing around with them "swimming" - first time ever I'd seen (or noticed) live ones, having seen a few washed up on beaches before. Wow.

There was also a curled up jellyfish - Aurelia?
A 12-year old Blue Peter badge winner from Chester caught some small flat fish, various crabs, various other crustaceans and a couple of ink-shooting cuttlefish with a little sea-side net and bucket.
Perfect day, even if the sea was a bit cold, for messing about in Trearddur bay.
