tadpole/frogs against water boatman

hello. The water boatman in my pond are eating every new frog that are just emerging from the water, how can i stop it? Can i take the water boatman out for a little while and put them in a tank i let grow wild for a pond, it only small though. would they find a new home before i put them back. thanks for reading

maybe you could release them elsewhere?

Water boatman can fly and even if you removed and killed them (no that Im saying you would) others would probably just fly in.

Frogs lay lots of eggs so most can be predated, best to let nature take its course.

That said do you have an areas of thick plant growth in the shallow areas where the froglets are climbing out? Greater water botamn tend to stay in open water so froglets may be able to climb out in safety in plant growth in the water at the edge of a pond.
