| | | Too many snails? Is it possible to have too many Great Pond Snails?
I seem to have loads and was just wondering. I have read about squashing them to feed the tadpoles, but I feel to cruel to do that
I did have a few Ramshorn Snails but not seen those for a while.
So is it possible to have too many?
My pond is 250 liter capacity. |

i have loads to the point where there are snails going round covered in egg chains from others as they provided a clear surface for them to lay on

Don't newts etc eat their egg chains? I have lots of Great Pond Snails but no egg chains so far this year but had lots this time last year before the newts and dragonfly larva arrived.
