All found on Paignton Beach

Hi Seb

I think

1&2 are Edible Mussel - Mytilus edulis
3 is of Barnacle on Mussel - probably Chthamalus stellatus
4 is a young Queen Scallop - Aequipecten opercularis

Hi Sebastian...

Here is an excellent site you can compare specimens with, it covers all marine bivalves that are/have been found on our shores. Also, if you know what family youre dealing with will speed up the search.
