Attracting water scorpions and water stick insects
I've been wondering how to make a favourable habitat for these bugs I have never seen before.

A well-vegetated pond with shallow water would be suitable, similar to what I suggested for dragonflies on your other thread.

You may have some and not know if you have a weedy pond. I spent an hour looking for water scorpions this morning in a lake in which I saw 5+ while newt surveying 2 night before but I didn't find a single one!
