| | | handling tadpoles hello its me again. ive got a pond full of tadpoles and im being begged to have have a closer look. So i was wandering could i get a clean jar and catch a few tadpoles (with then pond water obviously)? IS this safe for the tadpoles or would i be best just to leave them how they are. thanks for reading |

| | | Re: handling tadpoles Not a problem as long as they are just common frog or toad tadpoles and you only keep them a few hours before returning them back to the same pond. |

If you put a little pondweed in you can watch them rasping the algae off the surface.
