Pond watching is excellent for honing your skills in spotting movement - Comes in very useful sometimes | Its a bit hard for me under all that duckweed I cent see a thing, the poor frogs come up and have to wipe their eyes no wonder I can get so close they cant see.. |

I've noticed that quite a few pond creatures seem to like hanging out in the Duckweed. I scoop out some every day, just to stop it taking over - Everything in moderation. Would you like another chocolate?

Would you like another chocolate? | I am scared of hurting the watermeasures they look so delicate so dont want to scoop them up..
I had a spider in the middle of the pond eating a fly how would he have got to land if he didn't have the duckweed to walk on..
I will decline the choc but will have another glass of wine.. |
