| | | Re: Shark attack of Norfolk coast Any evidence of a shark bite, and inevitably it is put down to being "possibly ...... a great white!!".
In any country where sharks are abundant I don't think one with a nine inch bite (less than the width of your keyboard) would have anybody bothering to even leave the water .. certainly not a great white, not even a large shark, but could well be any one of the smaller species of shark that inhabit our waters.
But "SHARK !!" still makes good press headlines .. well ... for The Sun anyway! EDIT: Found this report from last year, when the UK was reported to be "awash with killer sharks" ..... by ..... who else?? The Sun!! .... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...er-sharks.html

UK coast awash with killer sharks | The Sun |News | Same way it's awash with big cats
Had to laugh at the headline. "JAWS is stalking the coast of Norfolk, experts fear - after a porpoise was found mutilated by a giant shark." What experts would this be? |

| | | Re: Shark attack of Norfolk coast I don't reckon it's anything bigger than a Tope that's fed on an already dead porpoise, those bite marks aren't that big. |

| | | Re: Shark attack of Norfolk coast Given that this is the national press, was it not a fox? They can swim. I had one climb through the plughole and bite my toe off once, honest. |
