We stayed in a hotel in Fordingbridge on our honeymoon (a long time ago) it backed on to the river and they used to put eel baskets in at night and we watched them taking lots out in the morning.

Useless bit of info - Henry 1 alledgedly died from 'a surfeit of lampreys'!
