New house has a fish pond, the last owner seemes to have raided it before the left as when viewed full of plants and fish/newts
got keys about 8 inches of water and not a lot else, other than pond skaters and midge larvae, though topped up and then noticed two yearling goldfish sill brown in colour
went to feed them some red ants eggs from the side but the pond skaters got there first and went mad for them ‪Pond skaters feeding on red ants‬‏ - YouTube
the other pond is still in the family though as its at a family home, so will still be able to update on it from time to time when in the north

| | | Re: my little water body forgot to share that i had moved again and now have a old decrepit pond in the west country.
due the the other half ferrets it will be going at some point and a new one constructed they can not get into, though it will be a formal set up due to being raised
a few recent updates have been put on the blog, this being the most recent Smash and Grab From the Garden Shed
