Not sure what you mean when you mention your 'equipment being set up'. I am assuming that you mean spawning equipment etc and that you have your goldfish in an outdoor pond. This being the case, my experience is that bringing fish into spawning is all about a combination of factors. These include, water temperature (68 degrees plus: helps sometimes to have suitable shallow areas) high oxygen contant, excellent water and fish condition. You have already achieved some very good results; it is often difficult to overwinter fry through their first winter outdoors. Good luck!

Goldfish will only spawn in ideal water conditions; it is not a survival strategy for them. Also, the water chemistry is a vital element of egg and fry viability. It is not a question of test tubes and litmus paper but it is about maintaining a healthy environment under artificial conditions.
