| | | Re: Alderfly larvae Both times Ive seen one (which is a few years apart) I had to double check they wernt beetle larvae. They are fantastic creatures, this one waved its abdomen to create a water flow over the gills when it stopped moving |

| | | Re: Alderfly larvae Aggressive little blighters. Put the tip of a pencil or similar in front of them and they will go for it giving an excellent chance to see those jaws of theirs.
