| | | Death of a Bullhead Over the years I've come across a dead pike or two with smaller dead fish jammed in their throats but never a Bullhead choked by eating one of it's own kind. The fish had been dead for a day or so but the prey was still recognisable. |

| | | Re: Death of a Bullhead Interesting Photo Woodman, its like a mini version of the pike with the jack stuck in its mouth. Did you find it under a rock? |

| | | Re: Death of a Bullhead I was checking spawning effort in the River Crake (Coniston) today and found it in the pot of a salmon redd. It was on its back and the light coloured belly drew my attention to it. Had it been the right way up I doubt I'd have noticed it. |

| | | Re: Death of a Bullhead Here's another shot. The title should be "Death of two Bullheads"! |

| | | Re: Death of a Bullhead Very interesting shot. Maybe a hard winter means desperate times.
