| | | porpoise in severn ? my wife has just got back from a break in magor, s wales, she and my son claim to have witnessed a porpoise fishing off the sand banks in the severn estuary just north of the new bridge. can any one say wether this is possible, or have they been suffering from sunstroke (he-he) overe the last few weeks. |

| | | Re: porpoise in severn ? thanks dogghound, i didn't know they were called harbour porpoises, i was always told a common porpoise.. but having googled harbour porpoise, its a surprise we have not seen them before.. as its exactly where it should be. |

| | | Re: porpoise in severn ? having googled further i find they are quite abundant in this area, but alas they are apparently under threat from the proposed river severn damming.
