paddling and wildlife
Not been around for a while, fab to see familiar names here and there and posts are avid reading still

Not sure where to put this post so into water life it went. After some recent snorkelling activity and currently undertaking a kayak course, I've decided to take up paddling as another way of seeing our lovely british wildlife. Has anyone a clue as to where I may find a website or some books on what rivers etc can be paddled and an indication of what may be seen, eg otters, rare river /canal plants ? Any help appreciated as ever

in the england and wales there are very few sections of river that can legally be paddled with out committing trespass. try the BCU or WCU for sections of water that are open for access
