personally I don't 100% believe this. I believe the fish was maybe dumped but not that it was caught on a line. This is a fish geared surely towards warmer waters and was likely to be sick due to being left in a uk pond. It was probably fished out with a net. They've certainly turned up dead in uk rivers before now.

This is one of the reasons though why if I were prime minister there would be a very short list of animals allowed to be kept as pets....

Totally agree with you over the pets thing Gill, I have in the past been impressed by exotic pets, only to then find out the evil ways in which these pets are obtained and the damage this trade does.
