Fish and Frogs

We live in Cardiff and have had frogs and toads in our garden for at least twenty years for certain, I provided a pile of old logs and don't cut the last six foot or so of the garden to provide them with a habitat. While tidying part of the garden I move an old plank and found six frogs beneath it, two of them black in colour, in the last week or so I also spotted a slow worm.
We recently added a pond and introduced eleven goldfish provided by my sister in law, who has been breeding them succsessfully outdoors for around fifty years. It only took a matter of days before I saw frogs in the pool so my question is, will the frogs and toads live side by side with the goldfish or can I expext problems?
As a matter of interest, I also saw a small newt in the pond one evening, it's around two inches or so head to tip of tail and greeny grey in colour.

We've never had any problems between our ten Common Frogs and our goldfish and shubunkins. The fish have successfully bred since the frogs invaded and we have a variety of small fish that seem to have survived.

In fact the fish and frogs often sun-bathe together:



We commonly see four or five frogs plus four or five fish all packed into a small area of the pond 'sleeping' in the sun together.
