Top one is Caragheen
edited to add: also Irish moss, or carrageen moss (Chondrus crispus)

Many thanks Ladyhawk and Mark for the ID. I've googled pics of Phycodrys rubens and I'm happy to go with your suggestion. My search also revealed that it's common name is Red Sea Oak.
