4 Pond Plants for ID Please

I took the first photo in Wales but the other three were taken in ponds around Northern Ireland. Help with IDs would be great.

Number 1 looks like the ubiquitous Canadian pondweed, Elodea canadensis.

And number 4 looks horribly like the very invasive New Zealand pygmyweed, Crassula helmsii.

I thought number one was Elodea Crispa... I had some in my little pond but the winter did it in. Thankfully now I have Hornwort

Thanks both of you for your thoughts. I've googled Canadian Pondweed and I think I will go with that for the first pic unless there are any other suggestions. IDs anyone for pics 2, 3 and 4?

Hi John,
2 looks like ivy leaved crowfoot as this in flower a few weeks ago!

The last is defintely crassula- highly invasive.
The big one may be the equally invasive Floating pennywort.Google Image Result for http://www.aquatic-solutions.co.uk/images/floating_pennywort1.jpg
The first is some sort of Elodea.
The other may be a water starwort (good) Callitriche. The leaves on the surface of the water are usually rounded, but the submerged ones are often linear. Very good for newts to lay eggs on.

yes, the first is definately canadian pondweed elodea something ( hornwort , starwort and milfoil are much better, native options) the second looks like floating pennywort, an invasive floating plant, the third i think is water starwort wich is a native oxygenator and im not sure about the last one.
