ID Requested for Rockpool fish please.

It might be worth mentioning that Coalfish are alot more common around winter at Scarborough. Pollock tend to be more frequent in the summer months. Another good pointer is pollock have a distinctive bend in the lateral line, coal fish is straight (as in your photo).

I'm not completely sure what it is. I thought that it might be a pollack, but the pictures of juvenile pollack Pollachius pollachius I've seen look quite patterned with brown and orange, whereas this one is a uniform yellow/green fading to silver.

Does anyone know what this is?

(It might not be obvious in the picture, but it has a single barbel-type thing under its chin)
