Fish for ID
Can anyone identify this fish for me?

There have been quite a lot of these washed up on Redcar beach in the last few weeks.

I think that might be a Ray's Bream Brama brama. It's an interesting find and I am sure it will be of interest to somebody out there.

It might be of interest to you Stephen that we have had large numbers of these fish wash up along the north east coast this winter which is unusual although the fish themselves are not particularly a rare species. Perhaps the large numbers are down to the very rough sea's we have been having bringing them in.
