Any ideas on what I think is a young eel?
Still not 100% certain

Yes its Anguilla anguilla the European Eel. In its 'yellow' freshwater/none-breeding form.

Nice one for the confirmation. Yes it was found whilst rockpooling down south along with a few pipefish too.
