After washing our sons coat, this is what my wife found in the washing machine. Of course, my boy denies having anything in his pockets....but....
WHAT IS IT???????? probably about 6cm long.     |

Hi Jotto,
It's actually a drowned and subsequently dead slug. The size figures for the Leopard Slug ( Limax maximus scientifically), though there is a similar one. A nice range of photos by the way, good angles.

Many thanks for the prompt reply!
Actually, the wife now thinks it may well have been from a pair of small boots she washed that had been left outside so a slug does sound probable.
Just borrowed my eldest sons camera, canon 450d....now I want one! lol.
