Jellyfish I.D.

Hi,

I'm not really up together with water species so could anyone I.D. this jellyfish for me?

Took this pic off west coast of scotland in august if thats any help

I think it's a Compass Jellyfish but don't quote me until someone confirms this.

I'd say it's a lion's mane one Cyanea capillata

Thanks I'll look those up,

It was really pretty with crimson tentacles. About 50cm across, there were loads washed up on the beaches going all gooey and sticky such a shame but thats nature for you
