| | | ID pond creatures! hello, ive been having a little scoop in our pond and found some stuff i cant ID so i thought id ask you awesome people.
first this, i though might be a freshwater shrimp but i dont know:
and this which i really dont know, it moves in a really jerk way but just flicking its body around:

| | | Re: ID pond creatures! First one looks like a Gammurus(sp) freshwater shrimp, the last is a Mosquito/ Gnat larva. Good food for larger pond life, such as Water Scorpions and Dragonfly larva. |
