| | | Wildlife pond - too clear? Hi all,
Weird question here - my wildlife pond (created first week may) is now so incredibly clear I wondered if that can ever be a problem. I have plenty of oxygenators -it did go a little green after a couple of weeks and visibilty wasn't great but now I can see even the tadpoles that are at the deepest part (around 75cm).
Everything seems very healthy and happy but I still wondered if too clear can ever be an issue. It seemed to start clearing once we had some rain - is that normal?
Thanks!

Pond Conservation reckon the most vital thing for a willdlife pond is clear water....but...something also vital in this case is lots of vegetation for things to hide in or under!
